The Ethical Protection the Confidentiality of the Deceased Patient, a course which earns 1 credit with the Texas Board of Acupuncture Examiners. Protecting the confidentiality of a deceased patient is a very important part of being a healer and is one of the lesser discussed issues in Chinese Medical Ethics. We will discuss areas of our Acupuncture practice where problems may arise with regard to this highly sensitive subject, read examples, and learn how best to resolve them ethically. This course offers Acupuncture practitioners an in-depth look at The Ethical Protection the Confidentiality of the Deceased Patient and teaches them how to use various ethical principles easily in their acupuncture practice in order to protect information about deceased patients more effectively while also keeping their practice safe.
